Problem Solving Sessions
The way this works is you pick something you want to improve at and I try to help. If you don't know what you want to work on that can also be the focus of the session. I've worked on topics such as writing, weight loss, motivation, learning, fear, social anxiety, career choices, mindset, optimizing/increasing productivity, relationships, meditation, and lifestyle design.
Why do I think I'm good at this and can actually help you? I wasn't exactly sure I could when I started doing these myself. I spent 5-10 thousand hours studying how to teach, how to help others and help myself. I studied many subjects along the way and feel like many if not all subjects have interconnected knowledge, or fundamental truths. So I decided to give this type of coaching a try. Initially the sessions were by donation, as I couldn't bring myself to charge for something I was completely new at. Since then I've worked with around 15 clients and I've gotten great feedback. My clients have also had relatively good results given the short time period I spent with them. I've enjoyed all these sessions immensely and as long as my clients are happy and feel like I'm providing value I'll keep doing it.
You should feel highly skeptical of even credentialed life coaches, let alone "problem solving coaches" ( I just made up the term) who have no credentials and are telling you they can help with anything. All credentials are though are ways of signaling competence in a subject. What I have to offer in that regard are my reviews, youtube videos, podcasts, and my blog (I'm not so good at writing lol).
Even with this you should be highly skeptical of my ability to actually provide value here. To account for this I'm only charging $20 for the 1st hour . If you want to work with me after that it's going to be $75 per hour or $60 per if you buy a 10 hour block.
I would recommend Daryl to virtually anyone I care about that wants to put work into improving. Daryl is great for a fresh, honest, and thought-out perspective on whatever you might need help with. He really enjoys helping people and it shows in his work. Daryl challenges you to be honest with yourself about your areas of concern and helps you to formulate and implement a solution that will work for you if you are serious about improving. In my experience the skills you will learn and knowledge you will gain from Daryl you'll be hard pressed to find anywhere else.
I would recommend Daryl to anyone struggling to deconstruct something they are tying to improve at. He asks the challenging questions and works with you to come up with an action plan. He helped me understand the things that are holding me back motivated me to push myself outside my comfort zone. I would highly recommend Daryl to anyone that is struggling to reach their full potential."
I have had several private life coaching sessions with Daryl, and they have helped me tremendously. It is nice to just have someone to talk to and bounce ideas off of, but Daryl is a resource that is more than just that. Daryl is a really good listener and has a knack for steering the conversation in a very productive and thought provoking manner. In our time together there were several occasions where I was seeking advice to solve a problem which was not really the true problem, and Daryl was able to help me see where the problems really were, and helped me to come up with plans for attacking those problems. If you are struggling to maintain the daily routines you would like to have, or are trying to figure out how to achieve the lifestyle you want, give Daryl a shot. You'll be glad that you did."
I had two session with Daryl. Daryl has got a unique ability to tackle problems from different angles, asks very challenging questions and would let me come up with solutions myself, which I find very motivating.
He is very empathetic: 10 mins into the session and I felt like talking to and old friend. (It is great taking about rollercoaster rides with someone who has ridden every possible one)
What I also enjoyed is his style of humour/ sarcasm without losing focus on important subject and/or derailing thoughts
